PAWN SHOP SCORE
 

I just went to the pawn shop to look around and saw this neat looking little double barrel shotgun sitting on the rack, the tag on it started at 350 and he had it Xed out twice and finally down to 150, I asked him about it and he said it was just an old double barrel and nobody was making any offers and he just wanted to move it along, I told him id happily give him 100 cash for it because I knew it was worth something due to it being a BAKER BATAVIAN, which was basically the double barrel of the American Old West, so he gave it to me for 100 and he obviously didnt do any research on the gun because they commonly sell at gun auctions for over 4000 bucks in good condition and this one is in EXCELLENT condition, no pitting, no rust, real clean barrel, no damage at all to the wood, real nice collectors speciman and I would wager it would sell for 4000 easy at a gun auction, here is a link to some for sale from anywhere from 700 to 4000 depending on coindition.

I didnt know it was worth quite that much either but I knew it was worth a lot more than 100 because a good friend of mine collects guns from the American old west and he is a bit of an expert on such matters and he has told me before to keep an eye out for Baker shotguns, in fact I just called him and told him about this one I just found and he offered me 1500 cash sight unseen. I told him I am not ready to sell it yet and may hold out a while and just enjoy it in my collection and see.

Damn, I thought all hypocritical, tribal loving, knee jerk liberals wanted no one to own guns.............................................. ..except themselves, of course! Good one on how to test it, tho!
